St. Rita's Sports Medicine Team of the Week is a program recognizing high school athletic teams that work together to achieve common goals and improve their school and community. The program is sponsored by St. Rita’s Medical Center Sports Medicine and West Central Ohio Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.* Members of the team selected will receive a certificate and a t-shirt to recognize their success.
01/08/2005 - Boys Varsity - Allen East Boys Varsity Basketball Team School District: Allen East Coached By: Steve Beshara
After starting the season 0-5 they have come together to win 3 in a row and claim the Championship in the Bluffton McDonald's Holiday Tournament. In the first game they beat Arlington who had only lost one game and then beat Bluffton in the championship game. Bluffton had already beaten Allen East once this season.
