St. Rita's Sports Medicine Team of the Week is a program recognizing high school athletic teams that work together to achieve common goals and improve their school and community. The program is sponsored by St. Rita’s Medical Center Sports Medicine and West Central Ohio Orthopedics & Sports Medicine.* Members of the team selected will receive a certificate and a t-shirt to recognize their success.
10/02/2004 - Girls Varsity - Jackson Center Girls Volleyball Team School District: Jackson Center Coached By: Kim Metz
The lady Tigers are 12-1 this season and are currently ranked 6th in the state. They are an oustanding group of girls who deserve this honor both for their play on the court as well as their character off the court. This has also been a noteworthy season for their coached (Kim Metz) who reached her 200th win this season.
St. Rita’s Medical Center Sports Medicine and West Central Ohio Orthopedics & Sports Medicine salutes the Jackson Center Girls Varsity Volleyball Team on their excellent season and state ranking. In addition, we congratulate Coach Kim Metz on her 200th win! Coach Metz and these outstanding young women are definitely a winning combination.
