What is the Spinal Cord Injury Support Group?
The Spinal Cord Injury Support Group is a support group that is designed to help anyone who has permanent disabilities from a spinal cord injury as well as their families. As a part of the group you have the opportunity to share your experiences with others who have faced the same or similar problems or listen to an expert in the field discuss the latest in treatment options or adaptive equipment designed to increase functional independence.

What does the group do together?
What Does The Group Do Together As with any life changing event you can often find comfort and hope by joining with others who can understand your personal experience. The problems of people diagnosed with spinal cord injuries are vast and can be better met with the support of others. As a group we try to find ways to heal our lives after being changed by injury or disease. The group is also designed to include family members in the healing process.

Where can I find more information about the support group?
You can learn more about our group by contacting Angie Dadfar at (419) 226-9765. Or you can just come to our group to see what it is like. There is no cost and you can participate as much as you would like. We look forward to meeting you.

Where and when is the support group held?
The Spinal Cord Injury Support Group is held the second Thursday of every month in March through November. The meetings are at 7:00 p.m. at St. Rita's E7 Rehabilitation Dinning Room.
