We have board certified radiologists on site daily to interpret tests promptly. Our radiation oncology program is one of the best in the nation having accreditations from several professional groups including the American College of Radiology (ACR), the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). St. Rita’s Mammography services at the Women’s Wellness Center and the MRI and CT Departments are also ACR accredited. New MRI Equipment Gives Better Images
St. Rita's Medical Center is home to the region's most powerful
imaging equipment, the 3 Tesla MRI (magnetic resonance imaging).
Vertebroplasty
St. Rita's is using a new technique called vertebroplasty
to help victims relieve the pain from compression fractures
which is often due to osteoporosis.
St. Rita's PCACC Adds MRI Technology Putnam County residents will now be able to take advantage of complete imaging services close to home with the addition of MRI at St. Rita's PCACC starting in April.
