The Women’s Wellness Center at St. Rita’s wants to help women
of all ages feel confident and informed with their healthcare choices and
decisions. Nurse care managers are available at the Center to help women
with a variety of issues.
Registered nurses meet individually with any patient who receives abnormal
test results following an examination. They serve as a medical resource
and to lend a listening ear. By following each patient’s care closely,
coordinators are able to provide the services—emotional, physical
and spiritual—each patient needs. The nurse care managers assist patients
making appointments for further testing, seeing the appropriate physician(s)
and linking them with community resources. It is our hope that by thoroughly
educating our patients about treatment options and providing much-needed
support, patients will find their decisions are easier to make. |
