"Bringing the author to Lima was really the brainchild of a St. Rita's employee (Michelle Thomas) who was an avid reader of Dr. Young's books," says Brenda Burgy-Schweizer, public relations director, St. Rita's. "The employee contacted the author who generously offered to travel to Lima at minimal expense. It was an opportunity we couldn't refuse and are very excited to have someone of her caliber coming to town. We hope families, husbands and wives, mothers and daughters and grandparents will all turn out for the free inspirational event," says Burgy-Schweizer. "We hope the lecture and question and answer session that follows will offer the community sound advice that will empower us all and provide optimism," she adds.
Again, the lecture is free and open to the public. No ticket is needed. Seating will be available upon time of arrival. The talk begins at 7:00 p.m. and is expected to run until 8:30 p.m. with questions and answers.
Editor’s Note: A private reception will be held for Dr. Youngs beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Crouse Performance Hall. The media is invited to attend.
