is recognized as a kind, compassionate person, both at the Putnam County
Ambulatory Care Center and in the community. One of the ways in which she
demonstrates our Core Values is in her generosity of spirit. Teresa found
out that a St. Rita's volunteer who had has no family, had no place to go
on Thanksgiving. Teresa invited her into her home to join the Van Oss family.
She has continued to do so for several years.
Teresa also knew a retired SRMC employee, now widowed, who didn't get out
much. Teresa brings the retiree to the employee picnic every year so she
can visit with old friends and join the fun.
These are just two examples of Teresa living our Core Values of
Compassion, Service and respect for Human Dignity.
Her work with the Fair and the Farm Safety Program are testament to the
values of Excellence and Sacredness
of Life. Wherever Teresa is involved, you will see our Core
Values in action.
