is well respected by her colleagues for her commitment to the Core Values,
by the community, for her volunteer contributions as part of the Allen County
Drug Court and perhaps most importantly, as a role model by her daughters.
As an 18-year Addiction Services staff member and a Chemical Dependency
Counselor, Anne has had the opportunity to impact many lives.
Anne's Compassion is evidenced everyday, but recently
one of her daughters had a chance to see it first hand when she stopped
to visit her mother at home. She found Anne in the middle of her living
room bagging up dishes, silverware, small appliances and bedding.
When asked what she was doing, she said "one of
her patients was making a 'clean start' and she wanted to help her get on
her feet". This is not the first time Anne has gone out of her
way to give a client an extra helping hand. Her demonstration of the Core
Value of Human Dignity is ongoing in both her
professional and personal part life.
Anne's daughter says she has instilled those same values in her sisters
and herself. "I am so proud to be her daughter.
I am also proud to be part of the same institution that my mother has made
such a big part of her life".
We are proud to name Anne Tebben, a Legend of St. Rita's. |
