demonstrates many examples of our Core Values in the radiology department.
One such example of her exceptional Service
involved a situation where a patient's X-rays did not get sent to
the physician's office. The patient was very upset because the appointment
was the next morning. Chris talked to the patient and volunteered
to drop the X-rays at the patient's house when she got off work at
11:30, or to meet the patient at the physician's office in the morning.
The patient chose to meet Chris at the office and she delivered the
X-rays directly the next morning. |
Chris, who is a casual status employee, is also known for her Compassion.
When a co-worker had a death in the family, Chris stepped in and worked
the entire week so her co-worker could deal with the family tragedy.
Respect for Human Dignity is obvious in her treatment
of patients and she is especially attentive to those who have disabilities.
"Chris treats our patients and guests as she would her own family members".
Her continuing efforts to make patients and their families more comfortable
while visiting the radiology department, is truly a mark of her Excellence
as she staffs the reception desk. A co-worker has described Chris' actions
as "celebrations from the heart".
