,
who joined the Renal Dialysis team in 1998, started legendary activities
almost immediately. Because many patients tend to get cold during treatment,
she organized a group of volunteers to make special afghans for each individual.
She also started the staff "adopt a needy dialysis family" holiday project.
Bonnie also serves as St. Rita's Dialysis Unit's volunteer representative
to the West Central Ohio Kidney Foundation Board.
One example of Bonnie's commitment to Excellence, Compassion,
Human Dignity and Sacredness of Life
is the special steps she has taken to assist a young homeless man who is
a dialysis patient. She makes sure he has a place to stay, transportation
to and from his dialysis treatments, medications he needs and even clothes
to wear. She is surely an outstanding example of our Core Values in Action.
We are proud to name Bonnie Huber, a Legend of St. Rita's. |
