Patient Registration, is definitely a legend in her hometown of Ft. Jennings.
For more than 13 years, she has served as the Ft. Jennings Youth Minister
for the Diocese of Toledo. She exemplifies Compassion, Human
Dignity and Service. Alice has touched
the lives of hundreds of young people. She has organized gatherings of 500
junior and senior high school students and helped with Youth Elect Service
(YES) weekends where volunteer assistance is provided to the elderly and
other needy people in the area.
She was also a leader in organizing a Senior Citizens Prom in which high
school students plan and implement a prom for area senior citizens.
When given praise for her hard work Alice always says,
"It's no big deal, it is the youth that make the difference".
She is too humble to realize that to the hundreds of youth whose lives she
has touched, her contribution is a very "big deal".
Alice's kind heart and dedication to service don't end with her Youth Ministry.
She demonstrates the Core Values daily in her actions with patients and
co-workers at St. Rita's.
