The St. Rita's Inpatient Acute Care Rehabilitation service provides individualized
service to you or your family member seven days a week, where ever you might
stay in the hospital. Acute rehabilitation care includes physical, occupational
and speech therapy services.
If you or a family member has experienced a stroke, spinal cord injury, head
injury, amputation or other neurological or orthopedic injury or illness, our
team of specialists can help improve:

- Communication
- Eating and Swallowing
- Bowel and Bladder Function
- Independent Walking
- Use of Hands and Arms

Our goal is to make you as independent as possible before your discharge to
home or, when necessary, to extended services in other parts of the hospital.
The Acute Care Rehabilitation Team is composed of specialists in their field
to provide the highest level of rehabilitative services.
