What to expect when you contact St. Rita's Call A Nurse

One of the friendly registered nurses at Call A Nurse will ask you for a brief description of your concern, so she can determine the information for your situation. She will then ask for your name, address, and date of birth. This is always confidential and remains that way for the sake of your privacy.

The nurse will then ask some additional questions specific to your concern. The nurse will then choose a guideline (or roadmap) and share specific advise on what needs to be done and when. Home care advice will also be offered if available. We often follow up with a phone call to our clients to inquire about the outcome of the situation.

Separate guidelines exist for children and adults. Both sets of guidelines are physician approved at our software company, where they undergo changes as new information is available. Local physicians also approve our guidelines.
