In a paperless society, there is no longer a need to wait around for your paycheck
to then rush to the bank and wait in line. St. Rita's Medical Center offers
and encourages all employees to participate in direct deposit.
With direct deposit, employees simply complete a form that asks for their
banking institution's name and automatic routing number. Each pay period, their
pay will be wired directly into their account. Employees will receive a paycheck
stub which is a statement of pay, deductions and a listing of vacation and
sick hours accrued.
Payroll deduction also allows St. Rita's employees to allocate money between
difference accounts such as checking and savings. Convenient and hassle-free
direct deposit has never lost a transfer or closed for a holiday.
